Sapphire has successfully completed Phase I of a sophisticated office and web based .NET/Oracle solution for Bet Brokers, the World’s first independent betting brokerage company.
The company uses a Microsoft Access based system to manage their business and with Sapphire’s solution, the new system will enable the placing of bets, price comparison across bookmakers and betting exchanges.
Alan Couchman, a Sapphire veteran for 18 years, passed away last week after treatment for cancer. During a long and versatile career with Sapphire, Alan filled a variety of senior management positions including Consulting Services Director. During all this time Alan carried on his duties with high integrity, genuine courtesy and a desire to help and support our customers. Alan was a true gentleman who was very popular with both customers and colleagues alike and will be missed by all who met him. Sapphire’s staff and friends send our thoughts and deepest condolences to his family.
