Trossachs Enterprise Rural Mentoring Scheme (TERMS) is a pilot project co-ordinated by Callander Enterprise (local business association) sponsored by Stirling Council, Leader+ programme, the National Park Authority and Scottish Enterprise. It was borne from a study conducted to investigate why rural businesses were not utilising the services available from agencies in the Stirling area even though comparatively rural Stirling has a higher percentage of self employed people.
The main aim of the project is to use people from the local area to deliver mentoring support thus enabling job creation.
Sapphire will be developing two websites for TERMS – a marketing website and a communication site to act as a hub for mentors and mentees.
